After abit of confusion and some teasing, we finally were able to meet in Second Life. We took the time to sit and pose before we went and explored the world.

Implications of Second Life
Second life opens up a new environment to create art. Some of the places that I visited were gardens and sanctuaries that could not possibly exist in the real world. It is interesting to see the different artistic interpretations that are in Second Life since the limitations of creativity are basically the limitations of a person's imagination.
Second Life also seems like a society all of its own. It is fun and informative to visit places and chat with people that you would never have the opportunity to meet in real life. There is also the chance to learn things from a new perspective. However, It is definitely and adult only site. Were my children to visit, I would be very concerned of the things that they would be exposed to.

Answer to question regarding Second Life Experience
Second Life enhances the teaching and learning experience by allowing students the opportunity to interact and learn about different cultures. It also affords them the opportunity to visit other points of interest and countries they may not have ever had the opportunity to visit. Students can engage in ways that are not possible outside the virtual world.
Blackboard Vista Chat vs. Second Life Meeting
Although it is challenging to navigate in Second Life I believe it is better than meeting in the Blackboard Vista chat. For one is more entertaining and fun to be able to see different avatars, colors, sceneries, etc. In the Blackboard Vista chat is only words behind words. There is really nothing exciting about that. On both sides you can be comfortable in your pijamas while meeting in Second Life or chating in Blackboard Vista. Second Life is creative freedom, is educational, and it has plenty of beautiful art. I would prefer to meet in Second Life than in the Blackboard Vista chat rooms.
Museum of Robots
I vist the Museum of Robots in Kubrick. It is a place that is dedicated to the appreciation of robots. It's mission is to promote an understanding of the place of robots in popular culture, art and science. It is realize through exhibits, entertainment, and events. It is a pretty interesting place. Pretty cool for the kids.

Garden of Apollo
The Lost Garden of Apollo is a place where you can relax and enjoy beautiful sim for your private moments or just plain relaxation. There are plenty of relaxing and romantic places with beautiful gardens, waterfall, and secluded places where you can snuggle with your favorite person.
